We have survived half a year together! The first six months of your life have not always been easy but when we look back and see how much you've grown and see your little personality come through it all seems worth it. I mean, I wish it came with less wrinkles and more sleeping, but what can you do....
For some reason you've recently started using your legs like a monkey to grab things that are out of your reach. Most recently you tried to rake in your rubby ducky with your fat toes. For some reason you also do this with my arm while you're nursing, usually missing your target and kicking me in the stomach.
Bath time is without a doubt your happiest time of the day. There have been multiple days where you've been a fuss pot to the extreme so I've plopped you in the water and seen you calm down in no time at all.
Your hands are all over the place now. I can usually guarantee that at some point in the day they will end up in my mouth, nose, or eyes. At one point I was humming the Jurassic Park theme song to you (only song that popped into my head) and you just rested your fist on my face (picture proof below), warning received and acknowledged. When you see something you want your little arms shoot out as you try and lunge your body towards the object. Somehow my phone has ended up in your mouth more than one time, a few times while we were on FaceTime with your dad. You've also learned that the sound the alarm makes when a door opens means that someone is probably coming in from the garage. Your head will pop up like a prairie dog as you look around for whoever is home.
You've started sitting up for short periods of time, more and more without using your arms to balance you in the front. For some reason you tend to flail yourself backwards and stiffen your body like a board when you're over sitting, which means more than once you've ended up like a crumpled towel in my lap.
It seems like you're growing more quickly now and learning something new every day. Hopefully these two tired things you call parents can keep up with you.

So cute!
