11 Months - Caroline at 11 months has been pretty fun. She's a very independent baby and spends most of her time exploring around the house for nooks and crannies for teeny tiny pieces of dirt to eat. Her favorite place in the house is currently a tie between the playroom or the fireplace (which is blocked off with a baby gate). She will crawl over to the fireplace with a toy and then drop it between the baby gate and the fireplace and then gesture wildly towards the toy until one of us will come and rescue it. Caroline loves a good game of peekaboo, especially if you're willing to commit to a full body version behind the couch or wall. She has been waving goodbye with more frequency and waves very excitedly when she sees someone come into the house. So far her favorite animals are dogs and birds, she will screech and squeal when she sees either one outside. If you ask her if she sees an airplane she will point up to the sky and start to look around, and she points to go outside most of the day.
We were trying to take a picture of ourselves for Jack's class project and this picture made me laugh.

"Mommy, do you want to go to the coffee store to get yourself some coffee?? ...............and I can get a treat?" Smart boy.

Her favorite toy at this point is this hamburger patty. Anybody who really knows me knows how much I haaaate hamburgers, so the irony of this is not lost on me.
This was post-stomach virus that took down our entire family.
